Amazonia Efigenia wooden earrings
Looking to add just the right amount of exotic bold to your outfit? These handmade wooden earrings from Brazil are real eye-catchers!
Using the ancient art form of marquetry, small pieces of wood are put together to create each piece. The earrings show off the beautiful natural colors of woods and nuts from the Amazon Forest; such as the red “muirapiranga” and the white “jarina” nut from the ivory palm tree.
Our craftsman comes from a family of marquetry artisans and works from his small studio in Manaus, Brazil; in the heart of the Amazon Forest. His work is an example of sustainable craftsmanship and supports his local community.
We deeply care about the forest. Our earrings are created with FSC and PEFC certified woods. This ensures the wood comes from a forest that is sustainably managed; necessary to protect the forest and help it flourish for generations to come.
Hooks are available in sterling silver or gold-plated silver.
